SCALI Wines is an acclaimed, family-owned boutique estate located on the Schoone Oord Farm along the southeastern slopes of the Paardeberg mountain in Paarl, South Africa. Run by fifth-generation vignerons Willie and Tania de Waal, the winery is highly regarded for its handcrafted, minimal-intervention, and certified organic wines. The estate’s name "Scali" is derived from the Afrikaans word for shale, which is the dominant soil type in their unique terroir.
