Buitenverwachting (Dutch for "Beyond Expectations") is a historic wine estate located in the heart of the Constantia Valley in Cape Town. Originally part of the first wine farm in South Africa, it is renowned for its cool-climate wines, particularly its Sauvignon Blanc and the iconic "Christine" Bordeaux-style blend. Wine Tasting: Hosted in the original 1796 wine cellar featuring traditional thatched roofs and rare yellow-wood ceilings.
