About Melkbosstrand Parkrun
The Melkbosstrand parkrun is a free, weekly 5-kilometre community event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM in Cape Town, South Africa. The entirely beach-based course features a flat, out-and-back route on compact sand that begins and ends at the NSRI Station slipway on Beach Road. Participants must complete a one-time online registration to receive a scannable barcode for official timing, and the event allows dogs on short leads.
