About Breede Valley Parkrun
The Breede Valley parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 am behind the Mountain Mill Mall in Worcester, South Africa. The event follows a single-lap trail course around a dam, featuring a mix of gravel, sand, and tar surfaces with approximately 30 meters of elevation gain. Participation requires a one-time, free online registration, and runners or walkers must present a scannable barcode at the finish line to receive an official timed result. The event is organized entirely by local volunteers, and participants frequently gather at the adjacent mall for post-event socializing.
