About A33
A33 is a multi-story, coffee shop and cultural venue located at 7 Orphan Street in the Cape Town City Centre. Affectionately known as "Gogo’s House," the space is designed as an analogue, screen-free refuge across three floors, featuring mid-century retro decor, Persian rugs, and artworks by notable South African artists such as Esther Mahlangu and George Pemba.
The ground floor operates without Wi-Fi to foster conversation and reading alongside its main coffee bar and art gallery gallery space, while the first floor functions as a dedicated co-working space with Wi-Fi access, and the top floor features a vintage-styled lounge dedicated to high-fidelity vinyl listening sessions. In addition to espresso beverages crafted by their notable barista Peaches, the menu features traditional South African specialties like amagwinya and koe-sisters.
