Sourcing massive logs from rare, salvaged timbers like indigenous Wild Olive root, Cork Oak, and Red Ivory, Rodney utilizes a specialized hybrid approach to creation.While the perfectly round exterior of each vessel is shaped meticulously on a traditional lathe, the interior is sculpted entirely by hand using custom-designed chisels to generate a striking, asymmetrical oval finish. His highly expressive, textured masterpieces celebrate natural cracks and voids, earning representation in premier global exhibitions and luxury African safari lodges like Singita.
