About Moon Rock
While Moon Rock is not located directly in the town of Keimoes, it is a famous landmark in the nearby Augrabies Falls National Park. Keimoes serves as a frequent stopover or base for visitors traveling to the park, which is approximately 70 km (43 miles) to the west via the N14 highway. Geology: It is a massive, rounded granite dome (exfoliation dome) that has been smoothed over millions of years.
