Mpenjati Nature Reserve North, located in Trafalgar on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, is a 66-hectare coastal sanctuary managed by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. It is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, including one of the province's largest remaining dune forests, wetlands, and pristine shorelines. Yengele Trail: A 1.8 km circular hiking route that winds through a dense dune forest. It features elevated observation platforms offering views of the Mpenjati River lagoon and the Indian Ocean. Fees: A nominal entrance fee is charged.
