KuMfazana Hide is a popular multi-tiered wildlife viewing and birding hide located on the Eastern Shores of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Location: Situated along the Forest Loop road, north of the Bhangazi Gate and south of Cape Vidal. Environment: The trail to the hide passes through a beautiful stretch of swamp forest, often referred to by visitors as "Butterfly Glen" due to the abundance of butterflies. Wildlife: The hide overlooks kuMfazana Pan, a waterhole that attracts various forest and wetland creatures, including hippos, bushbuck, and diverse bird species like the African Jacana and Dark-backed Weavers.
