The Bluff Nature Reserve is a 45-hectare protected sanctuary in Durban, South Africa, and is considered the city's oldest nature reserve. It features a large pan (wetland) surrounded by coastal forest and reedbeds, serving as a significant refuge for diverse water birds. Bird Watching: The reserve is a premier birding spot with two elevated bird hides overlooking the pan. Notable species include the Lesser Jacana, African Purple Swamphen, and various herons and egrets.
