Northcliff Ridge Eco Park is a breathtaking mountaintop park situated on Northcliff Hill (traditionally known as Aasvoëls Kop). Sitting at over 1,800 metres above sea level, it is the second-highest natural point in Johannesburg. The park is highly popular for its paved walking trails, tranquil atmosphere, and sweeping 360-degree panoramic views of the Johannesburg skyline and the northern suburbs. Operating Hours: The park is open daily from 06:00 AM to 07:00 PM (and stays open until 08:00 PM on Sundays). Entrance Fees: Entry is completely free. Facilities: There are no public toilets or retail shops on-site, so visitors should plan ahead.Best Times to Visit: Early mornings and late afternoons are ideal for experiencing dramatic sunrises and sunsets. Clear winter days offer vistas stretching as far as the Magaliesberg Mountains.
