Robertson Falls (sometimes referred to as Robinson Falls) is a beautiful, lesser-known waterfall located in the magical mountain village of Hogsback in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Tucked away in the Amatola Mountains, it offers stunning, expansive views over the Hogsback Valley and makes for a tranquil escape from the busier trails. The Drop: The waterfall features a dramatic, 40-metre straight drop over a dolerite cliff. Hidden Second Drop: There is a second waterfall drop roughly 200 metres downstream. It is heavily hidden from normal gravel tracks by dense indigenous forest and bush. Activities: The cliffs around the falls are used for bolted rock-climbing routes and adrenaline-filled abseiling.
