It is located along the tarred road leading to the famous Valley of Desolation, making it a popular first stop for visitors. The Monument: It features a circular plaque mounted horizontally on a stone base, indicating the direction and distance to notable landscape features. Landscape Highlights: The viewpoint offers clear sights of the Nqweba Dam (formerly Van Ryneveld's Pass Dam) and the prominent Spandau Kop hill.
