The Klerksdorp Concentration Camp Monument is located inside the Klerksdorp Old Cemetery Complex in the North West Province. It honors the Boer women and children who perished in the local British concentration camp during the Second Anglo-Boer War (1899–1902). Tall Bell Tower Memorial: The main monument features a tall bell-tower-like structure with an explicit dedication plaque. It reads: "Dedicated to the women and children of the Klerksdorp Concentration Camp (1899–1902)". The Names of the Dead: Positioned to one side of the tower, a sheltered concrete structure protects large granite panels. The names of the camp victims are etched permanently into these panels to preserve their legacy. Restored Gravestones: The dedicated concentration camp area contains highly uniform rows of restored gravestones alongside historical name plaques.
