About Long Tom Monument
This open-air memorial features a reconstructed barrel and remains of the very last Long Tom cannon, which was destroyed by the Boers on 30 April 1901 at nearby Feeskoppie to prevent it from falling into British hands. It is situated in a serene memorial park within the village, offering 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and the Ebenezer Dam.
