About Fort Nottingham Museum
The Fort Nottingham Museum is a historical site in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands housed in an old British fort dating back to 1856. It was originally built by a regiment from Nottinghamshire to protect early settlers from San cattle raids and serves today as the third oldest military building in the province.
