Jumping Impala' entrance fountain at Gold Reef City Casino ...The Impala Fountain, also known as the Impala Stampede, is a famous bronze sculpture of 17 impalas in an arched, leaping formation over water, created by artist Herman Wald. Commissioned by Harry Oppenheimer in 1960 to honor his father, Sir Ernest Oppenheimer, it was originally in Oppenheimer Park. The statue now stands on Main Street, Johannesburg.
