The Hangklip Peak trail starts in Pringle Bay, Western Cape, usually from a small parking area near the eastern end of Clarence Drive or near Stream Road. The path begins as a relatively easy walk through fynbos before a steep, strenuous ascent to the rocky peak. Signage: The route may not be heavily marked, often appearing as a thin path ascending towards the mountain from the dirt road area. Best Advice: It is advised to use GPS or to locate the clear path starting from the eastern end of the residential area, just off the main road, which is often listed on hiking apps.
