The Skeleton Gorge to Nursery Ravine loop is widely considered one of the most diverse and rewarding day hikes on Table Mountain. This roughly 10km circuit transitions from lush, jungle-like indigenous forests to high-altitude fynbos, ending at a surprising white-sand "beach" at the summit. Skeleton Gorge follows a rocky stream bed through a dense Afromontane forest, keeping you shaded for about two-thirds of the climb.
