About Frederika Trail and Viewdeck
The Frederika Trail and Viewdeck is a scenic nature walk located in Southbroom on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. It is part of the Frederika Preserve, a South African Natural Heritage Site comprising 8 hectares of mature, virgin dune forest. The Trail: A rambling path approximately 1km long (2km return) that stretches from a residential area to the beach. The Viewdeck: Offers spectacular panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and surrounding coastal woodland.
