About Howick Falls Gorge Walk
The Howick Falls Gorge Walk is a popular hiking trail that leads to the base of the 95-metre-high Howick Falls (known as KwaNogqaza) in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. It is considered one of the best ways to experience the magnitude of the falls and the surrounding riverine forest. Distance & Duration: The out-and-back trail is approximately 4 km long. A one-way walk to the bottom typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour, meaning visitors should allow at least 2 hours for the full return trip.
