About Aasvoelkrans Cave
The Aasvoëlkrans Cave Hiking Trail is a popular route located in the Highmoor Nature Reserve within the Drakensberg region of KwaZulu-Natal. It is primarily known as a beginner-friendly introduction to overnight caving and offers spectacular views of the Little Berg and the Tier Kloof conservation area. Distance: Approximately 4.5 km one way (9 km return). The Cave Experience - The cave is a "double-story" rock shelter that can comfortably sleep up to 12 people.
