The hiking trails at Hazeldean Valley offer a peaceful farm-style experience with approximately 60km of well-designed single-track routes that are mostly flat and non-technical. Hikers can choose from varying distances, typically ranging from 2km to 15km, including the popular 3.4-mile (approx. 5.5km) Bushveld loop. These well-marked paths meander through a mix of shady treed sections, open bushveld, and scenic areas along the Pienaars River, where you may encounter local farm features like grazing cattle, scattered haybales, and historic farm buildings. The trails are highly family-friendly and suitable for all fitness levels, and your dogs are welcome provided they remain on a leash at all times.
