The Rietpoort Hiking Trails are accredited Green Flag trails located on a peaceful farm just outside Parys, Free State. Set within the scenic Vredefort Dome area, these trails are highly rated for their excellent marking, diverse scenery, and pet-friendly policy. Total Network: The farm offers modular route loops totaling around 5.4 km that can be combined depending on your fitness level. Most hikers clock between 5 km and 7 km on a standard combined loop. Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. The farm has flat, relaxing paths along with steeper, rocky uphill trails leading into the mountains for those wanting a cardio challenge.
