About Alexandria Hiking Trail
The Alexandria Hiking Trail is a premier two-day, 36km circular route located in the Woody Cape section of the Addo Elephant National Park near Alexandria, Eastern Cape. This trail is celebrated for its biodiversity, leading hikers through three distinct environments: ancient indigenous forest, vast coastal dune fields, and untouched sandy beaches. A minimum of three hikers and a maximum of 12 hikers are allowed on the trail, per day. The trail will not be booked exclusively for one group unless they are 12 in number. Bookings for the trail are administered through Camp Matyholweni.
