Serenity Place of Restoration is a riverside lodge and fishing getaway situated along the banks of the Vaal River near Orkney. The property features six fully equipped private chalets designed to accommodate groups of two, four, or six guests, alongside private fishing decks and a paved waterfront area complete with a shared firepit. Guests have access to an on-site tuck shop that stocks convenience items such as snacks, cold drinks, wood, and ice.

While the lodge welcomes pets upon prior request, it enforces strict property rules to maintain its tranquil environment, including designated quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM and a limit of two fishing rods per person. Check-in is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, check-out takes place between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, and while the venue hosts small group celebrations, it explicitly does not cater to weddings.
