The Real Hennie’s is a rapidly growing South African restaurant and sports bar franchise, founded in Pretoria in 2018 by comedian Rikus de Beer, best known as “Jonathan” from RadioRaps. Named after De Beer’s beloved bull terrier, the brand has become a multi-award-winning favorite in the Beeld Readers’ Choice Awards. Blending the fast-paced energy of an American-style sports bar with the warmth of a local “kuierplek,” The Real Hennie’s is celebrated for its fan-first atmosphere.
