The Gary Player Country Club at Sun City Resort is widely considered one of the most prestigious and challenging golf courses in South Africa. Designed by golf legend Gary Player and opened in 1979, the 18-hole, par-72 course is famous for hosting the annual Nedbank Golf Challenge. Championship Layout: At nearly 8,000 yards from the back tees, it is one of the longest courses in the world, featuring immaculately manicured Kikuyu fairways and fast Bent grass greens. Walking-Only Policy: It is a strictly walking course (carts are typically reserved for medical reasons only). Caddies are mandatory and must be paid an additional fee.
