The Little Lake is a private, exclusive specimen carp fishing venue located strictly by appointment only on an estate in Broederstroom near Hartbeespoort. Managed by Gerhard Buys, the intimate dam is restricted to a maximum of two swims at a time and enforces rigorous fish-care regulations to protect its large common and mirror carp population.

Anglers must pay R150 per person for a 24-hour session or R1500 for exclusive use of the dam, and they are required to use specific gear, including a minimum 12lb mainline, wide gape hooks, a 42-inch landing net, a proper unhooking cradle, and mandatory carp antiseptic. To preserve the venue's quiet environment and water quality, open fires on the grass, pets, and petrol motors are completely prohibited, and all bait particles must be sourced directly from the venue. *Pricing may change in the future.
