About Kruger Untamed Tshokwane River Camp
Kruger Untamed Tshokwane River Camp is an exclusive, eco-sensitive seasonal pop-up luxury safari lodge located along the Ripape River bank in the southern region of Kruger National Park. Operating strictly during the dry winter months from 1 May to 30 September annually, the temporary camp features 20 luxury canvas tents that accommodate up to 40 guests and are designed to be completely dismantled each year to ensure a zero-carbon footprint.
The all-inclusive property provides off-grid luxury with en-suite bathrooms containing butler-fed safari bucket showers and chemical toilets, while offering guests daily guided open-vehicle game drives and walking safaris to view the area's dense wildlife populations. Dining features gourmet bush cuisine cooked over open fires, and because the camp enforces an age restriction, it is only open to guests 12 years of age and older.
