About Nsala Wilderness Camp
Nsala Wilderness Camp is an intimate, off-the-grid eco-safari lodge located within the Umbabat Private Nature Reserve, sharing unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park, Timbavati, and Klaserie reserves. The unfenced property consists of just five thatched chalets built on an elevated ridge overlooking a dry riverbed, allowing wildlife to move freely through the camp grounds.
Operating entirely on solar energy, windmill-supplied water, and wood-fired boilers, the camp offers full-board stays that include all meals, morning and evening guided 4x4 game drives, and optional bush walks. Guests accessing the camp by vehicle must enter through the Enkhulu Gate via Hoedspruit, pay a vehicle conservation fee, and follow local directional signage rather than digital navigation systems to ensure a correct arrival.
