Kambaku River Sands is an unfenced, all-inclusive safari lodge located within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, a wilderness area sharing an open border with South Africa's Greater Kruger National Park. The property caters to adults and families with children aged 12 and older, offering a quiet environment with 10 thatched luxury suites positioned along a seasonal riverbed. Each air-conditioned suite features floor-to-ceiling glass walls, a private viewing deck, an indoor and outdoor shower, and a mini-bar.

Guests partake in twice-daily game drives and guided bush walks led by expert rangers and trackers who are permitted to drive off-road to view the Big Five, leopards, and white lions. Main lodge amenities include a swimming pool, a full-service spa, a steam room, a sauna, a gym, and an underground wine cellar that overlooks a local wildlife waterhole. Dining at the lodge includes traditional outdoor boma dinners and meals served directly in the dry riverbed, with all meals, local drinks, laundry service, and airport transfers included in a standard stay.
