About Bateleur Safari Camp
Bateleur Safari Camp is an eco-friendly luxury safari lodge situated on a 3,500-hectare private property within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park. The camp accommodates guests in thatched, A-frame tented suites and operates entirely on a solar-powered grid backed by a battery system, utilizing gas geysers for hot water and a chemical-free salt-water pool. Guests at the camp participate in morning and evening open-vehicle game drives, guided walking safaris, and specialized bushcraft sessions where trackers teach primitive survival skills, including traditional fire lighting and plant-based rope making.
