About Minitown

Minitown has been welcoming visitors since January 1969. It is a non-profit organization showcasing a typical South African coastal city, meticulously constructed at a scale of 1:24. While Minitown is not intended as a replica of Durban, many of Durban’s iconic buildings are featured within its layout. Alongside these, visitors will also find landmarks from other South African cities, as well as unique structures designed by our own architects.
