About Inkunzi Cave and Zulu Hut
Inkunzi Cave and Zulu Hut is an art-focused, self-catering guest house located in the Champagne Valley of Cathkin Park within South Africa's Central Drakensberg region. Handcrafted by artist Steve Bull, the property features three distinct units built to reflect local heritage: Inkunzi Cave, which mimics a San rock dwelling and accommodates up to three guests; The Zulu Hut, styled after traditional Zulu mud architecture for two to five guests; and Diddly Squat, a solar-powered eco-cabin designed for two adults.
Each individual unit features its own private rock plunge pool or splash pool, outdoor braai facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen area. The property is situated near prominent local landmarks, including the Monks Cowl nature reserve and the Drakensberg Boys Choir School, providing visitors with base-camp access to mountain hiking trails and valley activities
