Greytown Hospital is a 234-bed public district hospital in KwaZulu-Natal that operates a 24-hour accident, trauma, and emergency centre alongside a 24-hour crisis centre, laboratory, x-ray department, and blood bank. Managed by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health, the facility provides a comprehensive range of clinical services, including general medical and surgical care, an operating theatre, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. Furthermore, it delivers dedicated healthcare through a Women’s Health Clinic, a dental clinic, pharmaceutical services, and HIV/AIDS management programs such as ARV, VCT, and PMTCT. Patient rehabilitation and specialized care are supported on-site by allied health professionals offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, clinical psychology, and social work.
