Copperleigh Trout Cottages is a self-catering retreat situated on a working sheep, cattle, and goat farm in the upper Dargle area of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, near Howick. The property features two distinct guest units: The Cabin, an intimate waterfront log cottage, and The Lodge, a spacious double-story farmhouse equipped with an outdoor wood-fired hot tub and an indoor fireplace. Guests have access to complimentary catch-and-release trout fishing on the 10-hectare Mavela Dam, kayak usage, and walking trails across the scenic landscape. The location supports extensive birdwatching opportunities and permits small to medium-sized dogs by prior arrangement.
