About South African Air Force Museum
The South African Air Force (SAAF) Museum in Valhalla, Pretoria, is the largest military aviation museum in South Africa and is located at the historic Air Force Mobile Deployment Wing (formerly AFB Swartkop). Static Displays: Three hangars are filled with historic aircraft, including the Mirage, Cheetah, Impala, and Buccaneer. Large aircraft like the Avro Shackleton are displayed on the tarmac. Historical Artefacts: The collection includes aircraft engines (such as the one from an ME262), uniforms, missiles, and aviation paintings.
