About Pretoria Golf Club
The Pretoria Golf Club (affectionately known as "Pretoria West") is the oldest golf club in Pretoria, established on 2 May 1894. It holds a unique place in South African sports history as the first club in the country to grant membership rights to women. The club features an 18-hole parkland-style championship course designed to be fair for medium to high-handicap players. Challenging Layout: The front nine features water on seven of its nine holes, while the 18th is a notoriously difficult "stroke 1" hole.
