About Roodeplaat NTG
Roodeplaat NTG (Noord Transvaal Gronde) is a freshwater bank angling and camping destination located on the northern shore of the Roodeplaat Dam, approximately 22 kilometres northeast of Pretoria. Managed historically in connection with regional angling unions, the venue provides shoreline vehicle access for targeting carp, barbel, and kurper. It operates alongside the multi-use northern sector of the dam, distinct from the southern eco-tourism and game viewing reserve.
