About RoeMar Resort

RoeMar Resort is a rustic, off-the-grid family and freshwater angling destination situated along the Gauteng side of the Vaal Dam near Vaal Marina. The resort features a one-kilometer-long shoreline divided into designated camping stands and 13 self-catering log cabins, each providing guests with a private 20-meter-wide waterfront area for fishing. Operating entirely on solar and gas power without standard grid electricity, the property also includes a larger, electrified double-story house called Die Oewerhuis that sleeps up to nine people.
