Wayne Chemaly, the proud owner of “Eighteen26 on Wharf,” embarked on a meaningful journey with his family to name his restaurant situated on the historic Wharf Street, aiming to honour its rich history. Guided by his cousin Bonita from New Zealand, they chose the name “Eighteen26 on Wharf” to pay tribute to the street’s historic significance which according to records the Wharf was built in circa 1826.
